(논문제목: A Revisit to the Concept and Role of Entrepreneurial Leadership in the Public Sector: Exploring Ways to Boost Positive Attitudes and Behaviors of Chinese Public Employees)
■ 연구요약: This study investigated the meaning and construct of entrepreneurial leadership of the enhancement of organizational consequences in Chinese public sectors. Hypotheses and a research model were designed to determine the antecedents and consequences factors of entrepreneurial leadership from the perspective of the social exchange theory. Confirmatory factor analysis revealed that there was a significant construct of entrepreneurial leadership in Chinese public sectors which developed by western culture. And structural equation modeling revealed that entrepreneurial leadership positively influence on affective and cognitive trust. Second, entrepreneurial leadership might be boosting by co-worker and organization support. Finally, affective trust was also identified as the mediator variable underlying the relationship between entrepreneurial leadership and organizational consequence (i.e., managerial accountability and creative behavior). We show that entrepreneurial leadership of supervisors elicits higher levels of trust in the organization and leads the employees to interaction by revealing a higher level of managerial accountability and creative behavior. Our results provide greater support for the deepening of administrative reforms and the dissemination of entrepreneurial leadership practices in China’s new civil service system.
