국정전문대학원 김민정 원우가 한국행정학회(KAPA)가 주관하는 ‘2025 KAPA Young Fellowship’ 수상자로 선정됐다.
KAPA Young Fellowship은 미래 행정학 분야를 이끌 신진 연구자를 발굴·지원하기 위해 한국행정학회가 운영하는 프로그램으로, 연구 주제의 독창성, 학문적 기여 가능성, 연구자의 성장 잠재력 등을 종합적으로 평가해 수상자를 선정한다. 김민정 원우는 「관료제 국가에서의 온실가스 감축인지 예산제: 장관 리더십과 이슈 소유권의 역할」을 주제로 한 연구 계획을 통해 기후변화 대응과 공공재정, 행정 리더십을 연계한 시의성 있는 연구 방향을 제시해 높은 평가를 받았다.
김민정 원우는 2026년 한 해 동안 총 1,200만 원 규모의 연구 장학금을 지원받게 되며, 이번 수상을 계기로 김민정 원우가 한층 더 성장한 연구자로 도약할 것으로 기대된다.
Minjung Kim, a doctoral student at the Graduate School of Governance, Sungkyunkwan University, has been selected as a recipient of the 2025 KAPA Young Fellowship, administered by the Korean Association for Public Administration (KAPA).
The KAPA Young Fellowship is a competitive program designed to identify and support early-career scholars who demonstrate strong academic potential and are expected to contribute to the future development of public administration research. Recipients are selected based on the originality of their research proposals, their potential academic contributions, and their overall research capacity.
Kim was recognized for her research proposal titled “Greenhouse Gas Budgeting in Bureaucratic States: The Role of Ministerial Leadership and Issue Ownership.” The proposal was highly evaluated for its timely and innovative approach, linking climate change mitigation, public finance, and administrative leadership.
As a fellowship recipient, Kim will receive KRW 12 million in research funding over the course of 2026. The Graduate School of Governance expects that this award will further support her development as a promising scholar in the field of public administration.
