2025 올해의 성균인상 시상식 개최

12월 19일(금) 서울 종로구 성균관대학교 인문사회과학캠퍼스에서 2025 올해의 성균인상 시상식이 개최되었다.

1997년 제정된 ‘올해의 성균인상’은 수기치인(修己治人)의 건학이념을 바탕으로 인의예지(仁義禮智)의 교시를 실천하여 각 영역에서 학교발전에 기여한 공적이 큰 교수ㆍ직원ㆍ학생을 포상하고, 남다른 애교심을 바탕으로 학교ㆍ국가ㆍ인류 사회의 발전에 기여하여 타의 귀감이 되고 본교의 명예를 드높인 성균가족을 선정, 모든 성균인의 표상으로 삼는 성균관대학교 최고 권위의 상이다.

올해는 총 3개 부문에서 10명(팀)이 수상하였다. 사범대학 김재현 교수가 대상을, 성균나노과학기술원 이성주 교수가 최우수상을, 사회과학대학 남태우 교수와 유학대학 안승우 교수가 우수상을 받았다.

행정 부문에서는 자연과학캠퍼스 신축 TF팀이 대상을, 예산기획팀이 최우수상을, 성균융합원행정실이 우수상을 수상하였으며, 학생 부문에서는 인문사회과학캠퍼스 동아리연합회가 대상을, 학부대학 FG가 최우수상을, 국어국문학과 채종빈 학생이 우수상을 받았다.

이날 시상식에 참여한 유지범 총장은 축사를 통해 “우리 성균인의 명예와 긍지를 크게 높여 주신 모든 분들의 수상을 진심으로 축하드리며, 그간의 노고에 대한 깊은 감사를 드린다”라며 “우리 대학도 인류와 미래사회를 위해 담대한 도전을 하며 세계적으로 존경받는 대학이 될 수 있도록 더욱 노력하도록 하겠다”라고 말했다.

The 2025 Sungkyun Person of the Year Awards Ceremony was held on December 19 at the Humanities and Social Sciences Campus of Sungkyunkwan University in Jongno, Seoul.

Established in 1997, the Sungkyun Person of the Year Award is the university’s most prestigious honor. It recognizes faculty, staff, and students who have made outstanding contributions to the development of the university by embodying its founding philosophy of self-cultivation and leadership and by practicing the core virtues of humanity, integrity, propriety, and wisdom. The award also honors members of the SKKU community whose strong dedication has contributed to the advancement of the university, the nation, and humanity at large.

In 2025, a total of 10 individuals and teams were honored across three categories. Professor Kim Jae-hyun of the College of Education received the Grand Prize, Professor Lee Sung-joo of the Sungkyunkwan Institute of Nano Science and Technology received the Highest Excellence Award, and Professor Nam Tae-woo of the College of Social Sciences and Professor Ahn Seung-woo of the College of Confucian Studies received the Excellence Award.

In the administrative category, the Natural Sciences Campus New Building TF Team received the Grand Prize, the Budget Planning Team received the Highest Excellence Award, and the Sungkyun Convergence Institute Administration Office received the Excellence Award. In the student category, the Humanities and Social Sciences Campus Student Club Association received the Grand Prize, the Freshman College FG received the Highest Excellence Award, and student Chae Jong-bin of the Department of Korean Language and Literature received the Excellence Award.

At the ceremony, President Yoo Ji-beom congratulated the awardees, stating, “I sincerely congratulate all recipients who have greatly enhanced the pride and honor of the SKKU community, and I extend my deep gratitude for their dedication and hard work. Our university will continue to pursue bold challenges to become a globally respected institution for the future of humanity and society.”
