2025 SKKU Rising-Fellowship 교수 17명 선정
우리 대학은 올해 신설된 ‘2025 SKKU Rising-Fellowship’ 교수로 사회과학대학 신은진 교수, 사회과학대학 이세영 교수, 경제대학 이은령 교수, 경영대학 유상석 교수, 소프트웨어융합대학 무하마드칸 교수, 자연과학대학 임화선 교수, 자연과학대학 오세진 교수, 정보통신대학 고종환 교수, 정보통신대학 원상민 교수, 공과대학 김정규 교수, 공과대학 권석준 교수, 공과대학 윤성민 교수, 의과대학 이승원 교수, 성균융합원 신미경 교수, 성균융합원 김인기 교수, 성균나노과학기술원 배완기 교수, 삼성융합의과학원 강단비 교수를 선정했다.
SKKU Rising-Fellowship은 본교 신진 중견 전임교원 중 해당 학문 분야에서 국내 최고 수준 또는 세계적 표준에 이미 안착하였거나, 연구업적이 탁월하여 향후 세계적 수준의 연구자로 발전 가능성이 높은 최우수 교원께 수여되는 명예이자 특별연구 지원 제도이다.
2025 SKKU Rising-Fellowship은 연구 성과의 학문적/질적 우수성과 글로벌 연구 영향력을 종합적으로 고려하여 선정위원회의 엄정한 심사를 거쳐 최종 수상자를 선정하였다. 시상식은 12월 23일(화)에 진행되었으며, 유지범 총장 및 학교법인 관계자, 교내 보직교수가 참석하여 수상자를 축하하고 격려와 축하의 메시지를 전했다.
수상자들을 대표하여 사회과학대학 이세영 교수와 공과대학 권석준 교수가 수상소감을 밝혔으며, 유지범 총장은 앞으로도 우리대학은 뛰어난 성과를 낸 신진 중견 연구자를 예우하고, 도전과 성장을 지속할 수 있는 문화와 생태계가 조성될 수 있도록 적극적으로 지원할 예정이라고 밝혔다.
Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) has selected 17 faculty members as recipients of the newly established 2025 SKKU Rising-Fellowship.
The awardees include Professor Shin Eun-jin, Professor Lee Se-young (College of Social Sciences), Professor Lee Eun-ryeong (College of Economics), Professor Yoo Sang-seok (Business School), Professor Muhammad Khan (College of Software), Professor Lim Hwa-seon, Professor Oh Se-jin (College of Natural Sciences), Professor Ko Jong-hwan, Professor Won Sang-min (College of Information and Communication Engineering), Professor Kim Jung-gyu, Professor Kwon Seok-jun, Professor Yoon Sung-min (College of Engineering), Professor Lee Seung-won (School of Medicine), Professor Shin Mi-kyung, Professor Kim In-gi (Sungkyun Institute for Convergence), Professor Bae Wan-gi (SAINT), and Professor Kang Dan-bi (Samsung Advanced Institute for Health Sciences & Technology).
The SKKU Rising-Fellowship is an honorary distinction and special research support program awarded to outstanding early- to mid-career tenure-track faculty members who have already achieved top-tier national or international research standards or who demonstrate exceptional potential to become world-class scholars.
The 2025 awardees were selected through a rigorous review process conducted by the selection committee, comprehensively evaluating the academic excellence, quality of research achievements, and global research impact of each candidate. The award ceremony was held on December 23, attended by President Yoo Ji-beom, foundation representatives, and senior university administrators, who extended their congratulations and encouragement.
On behalf of the awardees, Professor Lee Se-young (College of Social Sciences) and Professor Kwon Seok-jun (College of Engineering) shared their acceptance remarks. President Yoo stated that SKKU will continue to actively support outstanding early- and mid-career researchers by fostering a culture and ecosystem that encourage sustained excellence, innovation, and growth.
