오는 1월 30일(금), 성균관대학교 인문사회과학캠퍼스에서「2026년 한국지방행정학회 동계학술대회 및 정기총회」가 개최된다.

이번 학술대회는 ‘주민주권시대 공동체와 주민자치: 현재와 담론’을 대주제로, 급격한 사회·행정 환경 변화 속에서 지역공동체의 의미를 재조명하고 주민자치의 현재와 향후 발전 방향을 학술적·정책적 관점에서 심도 있게 논의하기 위해 마련됐다. 특히 주민주권 시대에 부합하는 지역 거버넌스의 방향과 지역문제 해결을 위한 실천적 대안에 대한 다양한 논의가 이루어질 예정이다.

본 행사는 한국지방행정학회가 주관하고, 성균관대학교 도시발전연구소, 거버넌스센터, BK21 교육연구단을 비롯한 다수의 연구기관이 공동 주최 하며, 본교 사회과학연구원 후원으로 관련 학계 및 정책 현장의 연구자들이 한자리에 모여 활발한 학술 교류를 진행할 계획이다.

학술대회에는 지방행정 및 주민자치 분야에 관심 있는 연구자와 실무자, 대학원생 등이 폭넓게 참여할 수 있으며, 지역사회와 주민자치의 미래를 모색하는 의미 있는 논의의 장이 될 것으로 기대된다.

The 2026 Winter Conference and Annual General Meeting of the Korean Association of Local Administration was held on Friday, January 30, at the Humanities and Social Sciences Campus of Sungkyunkwan University.

Under the theme “Community and Resident Autonomy in the Era of Resident Sovereignty: Current Issues and Discourses,” the conference brought together scholars and policy practitioners to examine the evolving role of local communities and resident autonomy amid rapid social and administrative changes. Discussions focused on contemporary challenges in local governance and explored policy-oriented and practical approaches to strengthening community-based governance frameworks.

The conference was organized by the Korean Association of Local Administration and co-hosted by several research institutes affiliated with Sungkyunkwan University, including the Urban Development Research Institute, the Governance Center, the BK21 Education and Research Group, and the 21st Century Public Sector Management Program. Participants from academia and the public sector engaged in in-depth academic exchange and constructive dialogue.

The event served as a meaningful platform for advancing scholarly discussion on local administration and resident self-governance and is expected to contribute to the development of policy discourse on the future of local communities.
